🪞 About Me

Pavy Beloiu

Engineer by profession. Artist by calling.

My Story

Born in Câmpulung Muscel, Romania, I come from a lineage of six generations of Moldovan priests, with my father, Mihai Beloiu, being the last in this noble tradition. My journey has been a unique blend of engineering, painting, writing, and mathematics.

From an early age, I was captivated by geometry and art. At just 12 years old, I found myself fascinated by areas and regular polygons. My passion for learning led me to maintain a rigorous schedule, often studying for 12-14 hours a day, from dawn until midnight.

Through my work, I strive to illuminate the hidden beauty in geometry, art, and history, making complex concepts accessible and engaging for everyone.

In 2001, I embarked on a new chapter by moving to America. While I deeply miss my birthplace and friends in Romania, I've continued to pursue my passions and share my knowledge through my work.

My Work

My work sits at the crossroads of art, engineering, mathematics, and theology. I explore complex questions and make them approachable.

I’ve written on subjects ranging from the geometry of conics to the history of logarithms, always with a deep sense of reverence for the truth.

My goal is not merely to instruct, but to awaken. To remind readers and viewers that beauty exists in numbers, in art, in the scriptures, and in history.

My Mission

I believe in bridging disciplines that are often kept apart:

art and science, faith and logic, memory and invention.

I strive to:

  • Revive the forgotten wisdom of geometry, algebra, and classic mathematical thought
  • Make visible the divine order in simple shapes and complex theories
  • Share lost fragments, hidden theorems, and meaningful heritage
  • Inspire others to look deeper into nature, history, and into themselves
